Location was great. It was easy to find and was so easy to check in. Having breakfast included was great, and with a large selection. The pancakes were amazing.

We loved the Botanic Gardens and the Zoo, bonus it was free and clean.
Riverside cultural district was a bit dissapointing, nice enough but nothing to do apart from walk through it, we did some of it but better off walking up the top along Quay Street to take in the lovely old buildings. Mt Archer skywalk was awesome, such a lovely view back over Rockhampton from up there. We also did the Capricorn Caves, it's a must see when in the area that's for sure! Yeppoon and the Keppel Coast was beautiful but we needed more time spent over there..next visit hey!

Our trip was a two and half day to Cairns which then didn't leave us any touring time.
When it came to food my only advice, stay away from servo's not an option we will recommend.
When searching good food/diners in Rockhampton remember to do your research because we ended buying local take-away and eating back in our motel room, VERY SAD & NOT SATISFYING.
I think this is probably the newest most modern self contained accommodation in Rockhampton based upon many other places I have stayed for work. It is very clean and spacious and I was fortunate to get an upgrade from the very nice manager. The accommodation was perfect for my work needs. it was very quiet and private. I was hoping I might see some kangaroos outside of my backdoor which we saw last time we stayed in a different room but not this time. Maybe next time.
room / bed / bathroom OK - room would be fine if I was there for work on my own, no worries.
I was disappointed though as it wasn't nicely appointed as per photos in advertisement -
and I was travelling with my wife (we were married in Rockhampton, with Reception at Centrepoint 17 years ago)
and so I wanted a nice room.
...the last photo with the nice bed spread and timber furniture is what was advertised...
The manager is very cool and kind person. She is trying her very best to keep the place well organized abd smoothly funtcional. This is not only the cheapest hostel in the entire Australia - but maybe also the most well thought one. During my stay I really had this feeling that the lady was running this hostel more for humanitarian, rather than commercial reasons. Defenetly a stay to remember...
The Quest is a reasonably new apartment hotel in central Rockhampton. It is in a good location with easy access to restaurants. The two-bedroom apartment was spacious and had all necessary amenities including kitchenette, washing machine and dryer, two TVs and separate air conditioners in each room. The king-size beds were comfortable and the design of the rooms was pleasant enough.
we have travelled from cairns to Brisbane and this is by far our favourite stop. beds comfortable- had the best sleep, clean spacious and airy apartments. owners went over and above when I left belongings - they posted to next hotel which was so kind and saved a lot of drama for us. 100% we will stay again when in the area and recommend to anyone
The apartment was perfect. I needed to work, so the office desk area and wifi were excellent. The kitchen was very good and we were able to be fully self contained as required. The cafe was closed over the Xmas days we were there, but Coles was very close by and plenty of choice to eat elsewhere. Thank you.
The location was convenient for what we wanted to see around the Rockhampton area. Close to restaurants and shops.
While the room looked a little tired and in need of a refresh (cracked walls etc), the bed was comfortable enough for a few nights rest. Room was serviced daily and clean/fresh on arrival.
Always excellent customer service.
Me and my mum frequently stay here and it's our favourite hotel in Rockhampton, not just because of the beautiful presentation of the accommodation, but because it's the staff here who are truly fantastic.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Overall the experience was positive. The location was excellent for exploring the city. The hotel was a little aged but the room was clean and large enough for what we needed. Wasn't expecting breakfast to be included so that was a bonus.
The Denison Boutique Hotel is a good place to stay in Rockhampton. The room was quirky but had a massive four-poster bed and great bath. Location-wise, it was a short walk from the town centre and had a good local pub/restaurant opposite.
