location great just off main highway. The area has grown since last visit so traffic was a little bit more than i expected. This is an apartment attached to a town home with washer dryer dishwasher at the end of a cul de sac. Exactly what i needed after my 8 day cruise...was able to prepare for another week on Vancouver Island. Owners friendly helpful. Everything is clean and new and working properly. They use Dove products Quiet neighborhood. Close to costco and grocery store if you dont need to buy in bulk.

Our experience exceeded all possible expectations. We love visiting Vancouver Island but this time was so special particularly because we stayed at Shawnigan Hills! The suite is huge, well stocked and well-equipped with practically everything a guest might want. However, we got so much more than just a perfectly designed and maintained b&b. No hotel could be compared to the hospitality and care we received here. Our advice: plan to stay for more than 1 night, it is worth it!

Our room had a lovely balcony overlooking the beach & boardwalk. Location was good but a fair walk to Arrowsmith Brewing. Bathroom was excellent & was the best of our recent stays in Vancouver Island. As we had not booked a separate restaurant we decided at the last minute to eat in the hotel restaurant & for some bizarre reason we received a complimentary meal but we had not given our name or room number, most strange. Also included free underground parking.

The hosts Marla and Tom were amazing, very helpful and friendly. Homemade breakfast was delicious. The hotel and room were very clean. The whole place felt very comfy and cosy, you could easily stay here for a couple days and feel right at home. It's close to the city of Port Alberni and a good central location if you want to do some Vancouver Island day trips. This was easily our favourite place to stay during our 2 week British Columbia roadtrip!

charming hotel with a good vibe and original concept, attracting a mixed friendly crowd. from the coffee shop over the stylish lobby bar and the outoor whirlpool to the busy restaurant, all hotel facilities exceeded our expectations. the stillwater spa located in a tent behind the hotel offered great massages after a day out in a unique setting. zed was overall our favourite accommodation on vancouver island - thumbs up!

Absolutely Fabulous! Zoe, dining and bar, was so helpful as were all of the reception and housekeeping staff at this great hotel. We slept well, great beds nice and peaceful. Location superb for getting around to see the sights of Victoria. Just one small comment. Noticed the use of venetian blinds on Vancouver island generally and I like to have a dark bedroom, so black out blinds behind would help.

right downtown it is our regular point to stop while on transit on or off Vancouver Island. there is a vibrant restaurant scene, art and a water front walk all there. the hotel itself has choice of fine dining, a bar. there is nothing outstanding about it, but the view from some of the rooms, but it is handy, reliably clean and friendly. good value for the cost.

I stayed October 13, 15, 16, and 17..the front desk evening staff member (didn't get his name) was very attentive, helpful...he showed exceptional customer service...I will definitely recommend Coast Hotel Parksville to anyone who asks, and I will definitely be staying there the next time I am on Vancouver Island

Comfortable hotel is located on a beautiful beach on the rugged West Coast of Vancouver Island. Awesome sun sets, beautiful sunny days both enjoyed on the beach just steps away from our room. There was lovely deck in the room where we ate our take out dinners from the local restaurants just a short drive away.

Cumberland is my favorite little town on Vancouver Island. It's always great to have a stopover at the riding Fool Hostel on my way up or down Vancouver Island. This hostel concept is super user-friendly. Facilities are great, especially the large open living room space with the fireplace in the middle.

Hotel is conveniently located, close to the Theatre and downtown Chemanius. The room was quiet, clean, and modern, and had a refrigerator and K-cup coffee maker. The breakfast was quite comprehensive and featured coffee from a Vancouver Island roaster.

The room was quiet and comfortable. The hotel was perfectly located for my work at the Vancouver Island Dragon Boat Festival -- it was less than 10 minutes walk. And although wildly expensive, it appears to be the best price in town.

The staff, the facilities and the attached restaurant were top notch. We would recommend this hotel to business clients and family/friends who were visiting Vancouver Island and area. The underground secure parking is a bonus.

this is an older hotel with a few knocks but the rooms are very spacious. a fridge and a microwave. the bed was very comfy. And it is the best value for dollar on Vancouver Island . Not fancy but great! we would go back anytime.

It's a beautiful location with a lot of space in and around the property. It is quiet and you have an amazing view on the water and quadra island. It definitely gets you in the Vancouver Island spirit.

Only stayed one night. You could not find a cleaner, more modern or friendly hotel anywhere on Vancouver Island. I always return here because it is the best in a great location.

The staff and facilities were great. One of the better hotels on Vancouver Island, especially for families. The staff members on the front desk were very helpful.

For the price, this was our best stay on Vancouver Island. The bed, the bathroom, the balcony and the room were fantastic. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff was great. For a hotel in a smaller more northern community on Vancouver Island it was typical of most accomodations.
